Canada Lynx Lynx have 28 teeth and can feel where they are biting in their prey because they have lots of nerves on their canine teeth. They also have four carnassials that cut the meat into small cubes. The lynx must chew to its head to the side to make it into small cubes. There feet are adapted for the snow. They have large gaps in between the first and second toe. Also, their big toe is set to a wide angle, which gives them a better grip on the snow. The lynx are endangered because of hunting for there beautiful fur and they have been in many road kills.
